Andrea
Kehmeier
, Soprano, is an active singer and
actress in the Philadelphia area and beyond. For the last ten years,
she has has been seen regularly in main stage productions of Opera
Delaware at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, and is well known
to Delaware audiences as one of "The Three Mo' Sopranos,"
a trio of classical concert artists and a living symbol of diversity.
Andrea has been a featured soloist with the Delaware Valley Chorale
and currently sings in the professional core of the Philadelphia Singers
Chorale. Equally adept at theatre and film, Andrea has performed in
stock, dinner theatre and children's theatre throughout the country.
She has also worked in numerous films, including Philadelphia,
Witness, Taps, Blow Out, and Trading Places, and had the
pleasure of recording the music of Franz Lehar for the feature film,
Seduction of the Will.
Temperance
Tantrums Andrea's
brainchild....researched, written and produced as a result of her
fascination with the Victorian Era, her offbeat sense of humor, and
her dogged pursuit of a moderately intemperate life.

Andrea
Arena, Mezzo
Soprano, is delighted to make her Delaware Valley Lyric Opera Company
debut in the title role of their Spring 2006 production of Carmen.
Recent engagements for Ms. Arena include making her debut with Philadelphia's
Center City Opera in La Traviata, singing with Opera Vivente in Baltimore
as Zulma in L'Italiana in Algeri, debuting with The Bronx Opera Company
in New York City in their American Premiere of Rossini's L'Equivoco
Stravagante as Rosalia, appearing as the Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte,
Flora in La Traviata with OperaDelaware and Berta in Il Barbiere di
Siviglia with the Harrisburg Opera, the Brooklyn Opera Company and
OperaDelaware respectively. This past Spring, Ms. Arena debuted Jake
Heggie's musical masterpiece Anna Madrigal Remembers from Armistead
Maupin's "Tales of the City" in Philadelphia and Montreal, Canada
in the title role of "Anna". She spent the summer touring Taiwan with
the American Opera Theatre Company performing in both Rigoletto and
La Boheme. Ms. Arena was also invited to participate in the prestigious
Des Moines Metro Opera Resident Artist Program performing such roles
as Carmen, Isabella in L'Italiana in Algeri, Nina in The Seagull and
Giovanna in Rigoletto. Past operatic engagements have included the
roles of Maddalena in Rigoletto, Wowkle in La Fancuilla del West,
Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Madame
Flora (Baba) in Menotti's The Medium, Schwertlite in Wagner's Die
Walküre, Fenena in Nabucco, Ulrica in Un Ballo in Maschera, Charlotte
in Werther, Venus in Orpheus in the Underworld, Sandman in Hansel
und Gretel and Lady Jane in Gilbert & Sullivan's Patience. A transcendant
solo artist, recipient of numerous awards in local and regional competitions
and a finalist in the Richard Parkinson International Italian Scholarship
Competition, Ms. Arena's most recent oratorio performances have included
Bach's Magnificat, Rossini's Stabat Mater, Handel's Messiah, Saint-Saën's
Christmas Oratorio, and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. Future engagements
for Ms. Arena include Amneris in Aida, in Philadelphia this Fall 2006.

Charles Morgan,
Tenor, has an impressive
list of musical credits. He has sung with The Philadelphia Singers for
over ten years, and has been a featured soloist in some of the Delaware
Valley's most prestigious choruses, including: Voces Novae et Antiqua,
Mendelssohn Club, and the Bucks County Choral Society. Dr. Morgan is
particularly proud of his recording work with Voices for Children, which
donates the proceeds of their recordings to children with HIV. Most
recently, he has debuted as Amnon, in the new musical Kings, a reverently
comedic look at the biblical Kings Solomon, David and Saul, which enjoyed
a pre-Broadway try-out in Philadelphia. Dr. Morgan began his career
at the Eastman School of Music, but freely admits to over-imbibing during
his college years and subsequently deciding to forego music for medical
school. As a practicing physician, he is now a Fellow of the American
Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Michael
Doheny
- Bass-Baritone - has been the Director of Choruses at Winslow Township
High School for fourteen years. He studied voice with Doralene Davis,
Clarence Miller, and Charles Walker, and conducting with Clarence
Miller and Dr. Randall Stroope. Mike has a B.A. in Music Education
from Rowan University, where he is currently pursuing a Master's
Degree in Choral Conducting. He is presently serving his second
term as President of the South Jersey Choral Directors Association.
Mike has appeared in dozens of local theatre productions over the
last twenty years, including leading roles at the Ritz, Haddonfield
Plays and Players, and the Pitman Broadway Theatre. Recent favorites
include Beauty & the Beast (Beast), Falsettos (Marvin; Perry Award
nominee), and The Rocky Horror PUPPET Show (Frank N. Furter). He
is a member of Lauda Chamber Singers, and has sung onstage with
Barry Manilow, Michael Crawford, and Barbra Streisand. Mike resides
in Wenonah, NJ with his wife, Jessica, and son, Patrick.

Jessica
Doheny
- Mezzo-Soprano - is in her 6th season as
Company Manager/Assistant to the Managing Director at Walnut Street
Theatre, where she is also a theatre school teacher and has understudied
roles in various productions, including Annie, Annie Warbucks, Godspell
and Pump Boys and Dinettes and this summer's Les Miserables.. She has
performed throughout the South Jersey area at the Ritz (Gwendolen -
The Importance of Being Earnest; Kate McGowan - Titanic; The Mikado
and How to Succeed…); The Road Company (Sally Bowles - Cabaret; Nurse/Assistant
- The Who's TOMMY); Burlington County Footlighters (Aldonza - Man of
La Mancha); Haddonfield Plays and Players (The Beggar Woman - Sweeney
Todd) and Spotlighters. Jessica has also directed, vocal directed and
stage managed productions at various high schools and community theatres
in the area. She has sung with Lauda! Chamber Singers and has held soloist
positions in several local churches. She is very happy to perform alongside
her husband Mike.

Phil Doucette,
Tenor Philip Doucette made his debut as the Right
Reverend Dr. Josiah Peacock at the 2006 10th Annual Victorian Festival
in Port Townsend, Washington. Both Port Townsend and Mr. Doucette
have never been the same since.
With a voice described
by the Chadds Ford Post as marvelous, Mr. Doucette has been noted for
his effective stage presence and warm lyric sound. Recent stage appearances
have included Bizet Carmen, Verdi La Traviata, and Rigoletto, Mozart
Die Zauberflote, and Nozze di Figaro, Donizetti Don Pasquale, Offenbach
Orfeus in the Underworld, Beethoven Fidelio and Strauss Die Fledermaus.
His oratorio and sacred appearances have included Handel Messiah, Bach
Johannes Passions, Mendelssohn Lobgesang, Mozart Requiem and Ramirez
Missa Criolla. He has sung professionally with OperaDelaware, Lancaster
Opera Company, the Delaware Valley Chorale, CoroAllegro, The Northeast
Oratorio Society, Trinity Opera Company, The Princeton Pro Musica Chorus,
The Philadelphia Opera Company Chorus, and The New Jersey Opera Festival
Chorus.
A
native of Middletown, New Jersey, Philip currently resides in Wilmington,
Delaware with his wife Kimberly and their greyhound, Dobby.

Kim
Doucette ,Hailed
by the Kennett Paper for her “beautiful, clear voice,” lyric soprano
Kimberly Doucette is emerging as one of the Delaware Valley’s rising
young talents. She has sung professionally throughout the region,
most notably with OperaDelaware, The Chesnut Hill Orchestra, and
the DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival. Past roles include Susanna
in The Marriage of Figaro, Casilda in Gilbert and Sullivan’s
The Gondoliers, Frasquita in Carmen, the Second Lady
in Die Zauberflöte and Amore in Gluck’s Orfeo. Concert
and Oratorio credits include the soprano solos in Brahms’ Ein deutsches
Requiem, Mozart’s Grand Mass in C Minor (second soprano), Handel’s
Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Fauré’s Requiem, and Ellington’s Best
of the Sacred Concerts. She is also a regular soloist and member
of the Choral Scholars at the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew
and Matthew. Ms. Doucette received her Master of Music in Voice
Performance from the University of Delaware in May 2003 and holds
a Bachelor of Music in Voice and a Bachelor of Science in Music
Education from The Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated
as Class Marshal for the College of Arts and Architecture in May
2001. She was part of the prestigious Schreyer Honors College and
the recipient of the 2001 John W. White Fellowship for Graduate

Jeff Carr
Jeffrey Carr attained his
B.M. in Vocal Performance from West Chester University in 2007 and
has kept an active presence on the stage ever since. He has been heard
in Austria, China, England, and many parts of the U.S. Previous roles
include Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicchi, Vicomte Cascada
in The Merry Widow, Gideon March in Little Women, and
numerous roles from the Gilbert & Sullivan canon. His musical theater
credits include Shem from Children of Eden and Rapunzel's Prince
in Into the Woods, Dandini in Rossini's La Cenerentola
and Schaunard in Puccini's La Bohème. Jeff made his debut in
Temperance Tantrums in April of 2009 at the Spring Festival at Cape
May New Jersey. He again appeared by Jack Welborne at the Grand Hotel
in Eureka Springs, Arkansas
